Alabama, New York men sentenced after multimillion-dollar bank fraud and identity theft scheme

MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — Two men have been sentenced to prison time for their involvement in a “sophisticated” multimillion-dollar bank fraud and identity theft scheme.

According to a Department of Justice news release, 38-year-old Demetrius Manassa, of New York, was sentenced to 15 years in prison, while 30-year-old Jarrod Ross, of Mobile, was sentenced to seven years in prison.
