Stockton to Celebrate Opening of New City Hall with Public Ribbon Cutting July 7

Stockton is preparing to mark a major milestone in the city’s history.

On Tuesday, July 7, 2026, the City of Stockton will host a public ribbon cutting ceremony for its New City Hall, located at 501 W. Weber Avenue in downtown Stockton. The ceremony begins at 11 a.m. in the parking lot in front of the flag poles, and residents are invited to be part of the celebration.

The opening of the New City Hall comes exactly 100 years after Stockton’s Historic City Hall was dedicated in 1926 at 425 N. El Dorado Street.
