(FOX40.COM) — An alleged drunk driver left a car crash uninjured because of a California Highway Patrol officer’s life-saving instincts.
On Saturday afternoon, a CHP officer based in Stockton responded to a single-vehicle crash and found a Kia Forte rammed into a power pole. The driver and a passenger were unresponsive, CHP said.
The officer immediately began lifesaving measures on the driver, who had no pulse.
“Thanks to the officer’s quick actions, training, and dedication, the driver regained a pulse and was given a second chance at life,” CHP said. The driver and passenger were taken to a hospital for treatment…
