A school was put on lockdown Thursday morning when a man wanted on a warrant for an assault charge fled from officers, the Modesto Police Department reported.
About 10 a.m. Thursday morning, MPD officers spotted the suspect’s vehicle and conducted a traffic stop, at which point the man fled on foot.
