Second man arrested in fatal Stockton shooting, killing teen

(FOX40.COM) — A second man has been arrested in connection to a shooting earlier this year in Stockton that killed a teenager and injured a man, officials announced Thursday.

Around 12:30 a.m. on June 13, officers with the Stockton Police Department were dispatched to the 1900 block of Hickock Court after receiving reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers found a man and a 16-year-old boy. The man suffered a grazing gunshot wound while the boy was fatally shot and pronounced dead at the scene, Stockton police said.

On Sept. 2, 19-year-old Jaylen Christ Morn was identified as a suspect and arrested. He was booked into the San Joaquin County Jail for two felonies, second degree robbery and murder, jail logs show. Bail was not granted and he will next appear in court at 1:30 p.m. on Sept. 23…
