Pair of Stockton men given life sentences for 2024 murder

(FOX40.COM) — A pair of Stockton men were given lengthy prison sentences for the 2024 murder of a man outside a liquor store, officials announced Friday.

According to the San Joaquin County District Attorney’s Office, 23-year-old De’Arius Wilson and 24-year-old De’Andre Watts were found responsible for the shooting death of Richard Anthony Guerrero on Nov. 18, 2024.

Guerrero and a group of friends went to Cal Park Liquor in Stockton to purchase drinks, officials said. Upon leaving the store, the group realized one of the men who had accompanied them was standing with Wilson and Watts on the sidewalk…
