Man arrested in Tracy after stealing high-value Pokémon cards in Kerman, police say

KERMAN, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – The search for the person who broke into a card shop in Kerman ended with an arrest 118 miles away in Tracy.

The investigation began after a burglary took place at around 2 a.m. on Saturday at Player’s Price TCG at 171 S. Madera Ave. in Kerman. Police say the suspect stole thousands of dollars worth of high-value Pokémon cards that were on display inside the store.

On Sunday, police were called to a business in Tracy after a man had attempted to sell the stolen cards to that store. When officers arrived, officers say 24-year-old Ryan Delisle of Fresno tried to flee the scene but was taken into police custody.

Delisle was identified as a suspect in the card theft in Kerman based on the serial numbers of the Pokémon cards he was trying to sell, according to police…
