A magnitude-3.5 earthquake shook California’s Central Valley on Sunday morning, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.
The more than 1-mile deep quake hit about 15 miles from Westley in Stanislaus County at 7:21 a.m., according to the USGS. Westley is about 20 miles southwest of Modesto and 20 miles west of Turlock.
