(FOX40.COM) — A Modesto man was found guilty by a federal grand jury of trafficking fentanyl in Stanislaus County last Friday, according to a U.S. Attorney’s Office press release.
The suspect, 27-year-old Andrew Madrid, was involved in two drug deals that took place in a parking lot of a Turlock shopping center. In March 2023, Madrid and other accomplices provided another individual with two firearms and 1,000 fentanyl pills. A Draco rifle and 6,000 more fentanyl pills were sold to the same person a month later.
A conclusion to the operation was made on June 13, 2023, following the arrest of Madrid and three co-defendants for the possession of 50,000 fentanyl pills and several firearms. All seven people have been charged with drug and firearm trafficking offenses as a result of the operation…
