Supervisor Condit recognizes Orestimba Presbyterian Church on its 150th anniversary

NEWMAN — Orestimba Presbyterian Church marked a major milestone this weekend as the congregation and community gathered to celebrate the church’s 150th anniversary, commemorating a century and a half of worship, service and fellowship on the Westside.

Stanislaus County Supervisor Channce Condit joined church members during the celebration, recognizing the long‑standing role Orestimba Presbyterian has played in Newman since its founding in 1876.

“Celebrating 150 years is an incredible milestone and a testament to the generations of people who have called Orestimba Presbyterian Church home,” Condit said. “This congregation has been a constant presence in Newman, serving families and strengthening the community for a century and a half.”…
