(FOX40.COM) — A person found inside a burning motorhome in Ceres died, the Modesto Fire Department said.
According to the fire department, around 9:30 a.m. Wednesday morning the Modesto Fire Department and the Stanislaus Consolidated Fire Department responded to a residential fire on Moore Road in Ceres.
The fire department said responders were told that one person was unaccounted for.
A person was found inside and died from the injuries they sustained in the fire.
The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Stanislaus Regional Fire Investigation Unit and the Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Department.
