Stockton council to vote on $4 million in crosswalk upgrades

STOCKTON, Calif. — Pedestrians in Stockton may soon have a safer way to cross some of the city’s busiest streets.

Tuesday night, the Stockton City Council is set to vote on nearly $4 million in crosswalk safety upgrades. The upgrades, funded by a state grant, would add “HAWK” crosswalks to eight locations, mainly in south Stockton.
