ACAMPO, Calif. — A person is dead after a crash involving two semi-trucks on Tuesday morning on northbound Interstate 5 north of Peltier Road, according to the California Highway Patrol Stockton office.
CHP says the crash happened when an individual was outside a disabled semi-truck, working on it along the shoulder of the roadway, when another semi-truck swerved for reasons still under investigation and hit both the person and the disabled semi.
Officials confirmed the person died at the scene. The identity of the person killed has not yet been released, and the cause of the crash remains under investigation…
