Stockton clears Mormon Slough homeless encampment after years of complaints

STOCKTON, Calif. — Fires broke out, and arrests were made on Friday as crews in Stockton cleared a homeless encampment along Mormon Slough near Anderson Street and Airport Way.

The longtime encampment has generated complaints for years and took hours to clean up.
