(FOX40.COM) — Forward progress has been stopped on a vegetation fire in Stanislaus County on Thursday afternoon, fire officials said.
The fire — dubbed the Sierra Fire — was first reported around 3:30 p.m. near Woodward Lake Drive in Oakdale. It has burned nearly 30 acres and was spreading at a moderate rate, according to Cal Fire.
