Tennessee fugitive wanted for kidnapping and rape captured by U.S. Marshals in Alabama

LEXINGTON, Tenn. (WSMV) – The U.S. Marshals Service reports that a “violent fugitive” from Tennessee was arrested in Alabama thanks to a joint fugitive investigation.

Robert Dunaway, Jr., 31, of Lexington, was wanted for aggravated kidnapping and aggravated rape.

Following an investigation by the Henderson County Sheriff’s Office, arrest warrants were issued in mid-May for Dunaway’s arrest. The sheriff’s office requested help from the Two Rivers Violent Fugitive Task Force in Jackson to locate and arrest the 31-year-old…
