BULLOCK COUNTY, Ala. (WALA) – An Alabama Department of Transportation employee has died following a two-vehicle crash in Bullock County.
Amad R. Jackson, 48, of Montgomery, was fatally injured in the crash, which occurred at approximately 9:55 a.m. on Thursday, May 28, on Alabama 51 near the 78-mile marker — about seven miles west of Hurtsboro.
According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA), Jackson was a passenger on a trailer being used for roadway maintenance. The trailer was being pulled by a 2024 Ford F-250 when it was struck by a 2005 Mack CV713 dump truck. Jackson was thrown from the trailer and pronounced dead at the scene…
