Alacia Brazil earns Alabama FFA State Degree

Alacia Brazil of the Lowndes County FFA (Future Farmers of America) Chapter was recently awarded the prestigious Alabama FFA State Degree. Brazil received the award during the 4th General Session of the 98th Annual Alabama FFA State Convention held at the Montgomery Performing Arts Center.

The Alabama FFA State Degree is one of the highest honors a member can receive at the state level. The degree recognizes FFA members who have demonstrated outstanding commitment to agricultural education, leadership development and supervised agricultural experiences (SAEs).

To earn the State FFA Degree, Brazil successfully completed a rigorous set of requirements. These included maintaining active membership in FFA, completing agricultural education coursework, participating in leadership and community service activities and developing a supervised agricultural experience program that demonstrated growth, responsibility and skill development.
