AUTAUGA COUNTY, Ala. (WSFA) – The community is being asked to stay alert for a wanted man in the area, according to the Autauga County Sheriff’s Office.
Devontay Stanley Jones, 27, is wanted by multiple law enforcement agencies on warrants that include trafficking marijuana and attempting to elude. Jones also faces pending federal charges, the sheriff’s office stated.
His last known residence is in the 1600 block of Chapel Ridge Drive, located in Gardendale. Jones is described as 5 feet, 10 inches tall and about 200 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
He was last seen in Prattville near mile markers 181-188 on I-65 southbound. He is believed to be moving on foot and may be hiding in wooded areas near the interstate.
