North Alabama’s lakes are at full pool approaching Memorial Day Weekend

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) — After months of drought, the Tennessee Valley Authority said Alabama’s lakes are back at full pool.

TVA manages the Tennessee Valley’s water system. Before last week’s rainfall, Joe Wheeler, Guntersville, and Wilson lakes were three to four feet below where they normally are this time of year.
