HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WAFF) – Good Memorial Day Monday morning. A Dense Fog Advisory is in effect through 10:00 AM CDT for all North Alabama and Middle Tennessee counties.
Visibility this morning can be less than one-quarter mile, please travel with caution. Morning temps are mild in the middle to upper 60s with a muggy feel to start the day. The dense fog will mix out by mid-morning leaving us with cloudy skies through the day. A few widely scattered rain showers are possible before noon, but most of the rain and storms today will hold off until the afternoon and evening hours. Storms this afternoon are not expected to be severe in nature, but locally heavy rainfall and frequent lightning may disrupt some of your outside plans.
