Remembering Blue Angels pilot Capt. Jeff Kuss 10 years later

SMYRNA, Tenn. (WKRN) — Tuesday marks 10 years since the tragic death of Blue Angels pilot Jeff Kuss , who died in a training mission before the Great Tennessee Air Show in Smyrna.

His memory lives on with the residents of Smyrna and Middle Tennessee, including Stewarts Creek High School Principal Dr. Clark Harrell, who counseled the fighter pilots that tragic day.

Just like the students he leads as principal, Harrell also found his footing in Rutherford County. Born the son of educators, he followed his parents footsteps, and answered another call — to serve as a pastor and then chaplain in the military…
