RUTHERFORD CO., Tenn. (WSMV) – The Rutherford County School Board is expected to vote on the creation of a new job that deals with compliance oversight for athletes who are transferring schools.
Beginning July 1, high school athletes in Tennessee can begin to take advantage of a new law passed in February. The law allows athletes to transfer schools one time without having their eligibility penalized.
