A proposed Lowe’s on the city’s south side has taken a major step forward with Murfreesboro Planning Commission zoning approval June 3.
The elected Murfreesboro City Council during a yet-scheduled public hearing will consider the planning commission’s unanimous’ zoning recommendation for the Lowe’s, planned off U.S. Highway 231 (Shelbyville Pike) south of the nearby Walmart off Joe B. Jackson Parkway.
The proposed Lowe’s for home improvement products would be the growing city’s second Lowe’s and the third for Rutherford County. The city’s existing Lowe’s sits next to the Target shopping center off Old Fort Parkway. Smryna also has a Lowe’s off Sam Ridley Parkway West and Old Nashville Highway…
