Three companies file lawsuits after Tennessee Gov. Lee signs ‘Fair Rx Act’ bill

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) – Three companies have filed separate lawsuits after Tennessee Governor Bill Lee signed the “Fair Rx Act” into law last month.

The bill, which is slated to go into law on July 1, 2028, creates a pathway to block companies from owning pharmacies while also owning a pharmacy benefit manager and health insurer in the state.
