Public comments were split on a resolution to rezone 39 Goosepond Road, which came before the Coffee County Commission on June 23.
The property was originally zoned A-1, an agricultural district. The applicant asked for the property to be rezoned to C-1, a commercial district. The Commission ultimately granted the request with a 14-2 vote (Commissioners Tim Brown and Tina Reed opposed).
