Walmart handicap parking violation leads to TN man’s arrest for weed and warrants

MT. JULIET, Tenn. (WSMV) – A 27-year-old man was arrested on Friday after he was initially stopped for a handicap parking violation at Walmart, but was ultimately found to be facing more serious charges.

The Mt. Juliet Police Department said that the man was stopped for a handicap parking violation and running a stop sign. But once officers confronted him, they discovered a stolen firearm from Memphis, a small amount of marijuana and that the man had two outstanding warrants from Wilson County.
