Journey Home spends $1 to buy Murfreesboro property

The price had been negotiated, but then the City of Murfreesboro proposed a lower deal to sell two small pieces of property to the Journey Home organization.

“We negotiated a price with the city that was very fair and below the market,” Journey Home founder and executive director Scott Foster said. “But we also were only planning on using it for a parking lot.
