Tennessee judge denies Zach Adams’ bid for new trial in Holly Bobo murder case

HARDIN COUNTY, Tenn. (WBBJ) – A Tennessee judge has denied convicted killer Zach Adams’ request for post-conviction relief in the 2011 murder of Holly Bobo, keeping his conviction and life sentence in place.

Circuit Court Judge Brent Bradbury rejected every claim Adams raised in a 97-page ruling and denied his petition for a new trial.

Claims rejected

Adams argued he deserved relief based on allegations that co-defendant Jason Autry gave false testimony during the original trial and that his trial attorneys failed to provide effective representation.
