MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WGNS News) – Get your appetite for Beaver Nuggets ready. Construction on Murfreesboro’s massive new Buc-ee’s appears to be moving steadily toward completion, bringing the popular travel center closer to opening along Interstate 24.
Current reports point to a tentative opening date of November 16, 2026, although Buc-ee’s has not publicly confirmed that date as final. The company has previously targeted a late-2026 opening, while the City of Murfreesboro has indicated that the location is expected to open in November.
The new travel center is being constructed on approximately 47 acres near the Interstate 24 and Joe B. Jackson Parkway interchange. Plans call for a store measuring roughly 74,000 to 75,000 square feet, along with 120 fueling positions, electric-vehicle charging stations and approximately 490 parking spaces.
