Early sunsets just around the corner for Middle Tennessee

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – Daylight Saving Time ends on the first day of November.

With each passing day in late summer, the sun goes down earlier a little bit earlier. The sun rises later each day, too. The rate of change of both of these things accelerates as we approach the first day of autumn — September 22.

All of this means if you like evening walks after dinner when it’s still light out, take full advantage of the next several weeks, or be ready to shift your dinner hour earlier as winter approaches…
