NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV/Gray News) – The body of the man who went missing after jumping into the Nashville lake known for being the deadliest body of water in Tennessee was recovered after a multi-day search.
The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency said that 72-year-old Phillip Green had taken a boat out on Percy Priest Lake on Sunday with a woman. After they jumped off the boat to swim, along with a single pool noodle, wind caused the boat to drift.
Green tried to swim after the boat, leaving the woman with the pool noodle. That’s when he went underwater and failed to resurface, according to authorities…
