SHELBYVILLE, Tenn. (WGNS) – About 20-minutes south of Rutherford County in Shelbyville, authorities are investigating a series of vehicle burglaries and thefts reported across Shelbyville and surrounding areas, with investigators now working to identify the owners of property recovered during the investigation.
According to a release on social media by Shelbyville Police, the Shelbyville Police Department and Bedford County Sheriff’s Office are jointly investigating the incidents, which have occurred at multiple locations within both the city and county.
Police said law enforcement officers have recovered property believed to be connected to the burglaries and thefts. However, some of those items have not yet been matched with their rightful owners…
