Former fast-food manager in Murfreesboro charged after tying employee to grill

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WKRN) — A former fast-food manager in Murfreesboro faces charges after allegedly tying an employee to a grill.

The Murfreesboro Police Department said the incident took place at the Wendy’s located along South Church Street on Aug. 30.

When law enforcement spoke with the former 19-year-old manager, she reportedly told them that she tied the employee—who is described as neurodivergent—to a workstation grill as part of a “TikTok trend.”
