Middle Tennessee State University was among more than 30 colleges, universities, technical schools and military branches represented at a recent college fair hosted by Columbia State Community College for high school juniors and seniors in Maury County.
The event, held in partnership with Maury County public and private schools, connected more than 1,000 students with recruiters and admissions representatives, giving them an opportunity to explore postsecondary options without leaving the county, according to a community announcement.
Students had the chance to speak directly with representatives from MTSU and other institutions about academic programs, admissions requirements, financial aid opportunities and campus life. Officials said the fair was designed to help students better understand the college application process while building confidence as they plan for life after high school.
