Five victims, including police officer, bitten by two dogs in Smyrna

SMYRNA, Tenn. (WSMV) – Five people, including a police officer, were reportedly bitten by two dogs in the Town of Smyrna on Monday, according to police.

The Smyrna Police Department reports that officers responded to the area of Sam Ridley Parkway to reports of two aggressive dogs that had bitten multiple people at about 11:15 a.m.

Several agencies responded to the scene and secured the dogs, which are believed to have originated from La Vergne and entered the Smyrna area before the incident occurred…
