Gas prices rising in Tennessee as summer approaches

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – Gas prices are climbing across Tennessee, with the state average reaching $4.03 per gallon, $1.26 more than the same day last year.

Analysts are predicting $5 per gallon gas heading into the summer months. Every state in the country saw gas prices rise in the last week.

In Nashville, drivers are paying a few cents more than the rest of the state, with prices around $4.07. Some stations in Madison are charging as high as $4.19 and $4.39…
