Premier Transportation opens northeast Tennessee facility, expanding regional service

KINGSPORT, Tenn. — Premier Transportation has opened a new facility in the Tri-Cities region, deepening its roots in an area the charter motorcoach company has served for more than 20 years.

The service center, located near the intersection of Interstates 26 and 81, is positioned to support clients across northeast Tennessee and southwest Virginia, including Kingsport and Johnson City, Tennessee, and Bristol, Virginia. Company officials said the expansion comes in response to increasing demand for group transportation services.

The new operation is expected to improve efficiency by reducing travel distances for vehicles previously dispatched from Knoxville. The change is also intended to lower costs and enhance service for schools, businesses, churches, and athletic programs.
