SMYRNA, Tenn. (WKRN) — Smyrna police are investigating a deadly shooting at a local tattoo shop.
According to the Smyrna Police Department, officers responded to a shooting at Against the Grain Tattoo on North Lowry Street on Wednesday, May 13.
The preliminary investigation determined a work-related dispute between the business owner and an employee escalated into a physical altercation in the parking lot. During the incident, another employee attempted to intervene and separate those involved.

Amid the altercation, one individual discharged a firearm multiple times, claiming self-defense. The victim was transported to StoneCrest Medical Center, where he was later pronounced deceased…
