MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW) – Another hot and muggy day across our region. We’ve had several storms across the Interstate 95 area into the border belt. Those will continue to slowly fade as we go into the overnight period. Beneficial rain continues to pile up over the last few days. Tonight we will have partly to mostly cloudy skies, with lows falling into the low to mid 70s.
Tuesday through Thursday, will once again feature scattered to widely scattered showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon. Daytime highs will be in the mid to upper 80s, with some locations near 90 on Thursday. Daily storm chances will continue. Watch for torrential rainfall, isolated hail, and gusty winds with each and every storm. Overnight lows will be warm and muggy falling into the upper 60s to low to mid 70s.
A front passes through the area on Friday, this will lower storm chances for about 24-36 hours, before warm southerly flow kicks back in. High temperatures will may it only into the low to mid 70s on Sunday…
