FIRST ALERT – Pop up showers and storms continue

MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – An unsettled weather pattern will continue with pop up downpours likely. The potentially wet weather pattern may linger into the weekend.

Today

High humidity will continue across the area today and will lead to another round of pop up showers and storms. Once again, the lowest chances will be near the beaches where just an isolated shower is possible through midday. Rain chances rapidly increase once inland with widespread showers and storms developing this afternoon across the Pee Dee. Some of the storms could drop locally heavy rainfall at times.

Temperatures will reach the lower 80s at the beaches and middle 80s inland…
