‘It’s a privilege’: Workers set up early and greet voters at polls

HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WPDE) — Polls opened at 7 a.m. this morning, and poll workers arrived early at locations to get machines set up and welcome voters.

Voters arrived before polls opened at the South Stand Recreation Center in Horry County. The first arrived at 6:50 a.m.

People we talked to said they were anxious to cast their vote in the primary election and exercise their right to vote…
