Allegations of judicial misconduct have led to a flurry of motions in the last two weeks in the Scott Spivey case.
One of those allegations is the claim that Judge Eugene Griffith Jr. considered granting immunity to one of Spivey’s two shooters in exchange for his testimony against the other.
Weldon Boyd who, along with his friend Kenneth “Bradley” Williams, shot and killed the 33-year-old North Carolina man nearly three years ago, filed a motion earlier this month for the judge to recuse himself after he denied the shooters’ “stand your ground” immunity in a civil case filed by the Spivey family…
