Police report provides new details after Florence man arrested in Myrtle Beach shots-fired investigation

MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – A report provides more details after shots were fired in Myrtle Beach in June.

The U.S. Marshals Service Carolinas Regional Fugitive Task Force arrested Darnell Antonio Richardson, 38, in connection with a shots-fired report on the 100 block of North Ocean Boulevard on June 12.

The Myrtle Beach Police Department responded at 5:22 a.m. after receiving a ShotSpotter alert. Officers said they arrived to find the victim walking along the sidewalk.

According to an incident report, the victim told police someone had shot at him and that the suspect was still in a nearby parking lot. The victim described the suspect as a Black man, about 5 feet 8 inches tall, skinny, with medium-length dreadlocks, and wearing a white shirt…
