The chance for rain and thunderstorms will be back again tomorrow. Tonight will be mostly cloudy, warm and muggy with scattered showers. Low temperatures will stay in the 70s. A stalled front in the Carolinas will keep it rather cloudy tomorrow with another chance for rain and thunderstorms. It will also stay cooler than last week with highs in the 80s.
High pressure will strengthen for the second half of the week, lowering the rain chances and raising the temperatures. There will be a slight chance of a thunderstorm on Wednesday, and temperatures will be back to normal with highs in the 80s and low 90s. It will be mostly dry Thursday and Friday with highs in the 90s. The area of high pressure will slowly weaken over the weekend, bringing back the chance for thunderstorms and highs in the 90s.
