Temperatures are back to normal

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW) — Temperatures are starting off in the low to mid-70s this morning, with a few areas of light fog possible around sunrise. We’ll begin the day with some cloud cover, but those clouds will quickly thin out, leading to partly sunny skies for the afternoon.

Temperatures will return to near-normal levels today, making it a bit warmer than yesterday. Highs will reach the upper 80s along the coast, with heat index values climbing into the mid-90s. Inland communities will top out in the low-90s.

Winds will shift tonight as high pressure builds into the region. This will lead to hotter temperatures and lower chances of rain through the rest of the week. High temperatures tomorrow will be near 90 at the beaches and into the mid-90s inland, with feels-like temperatures once again exceeding 100 degrees…
