Myrtle Beach man arrested in Brunswick County after allegedly arranging to meet a child

BRUNSWICK COUNTY, N.C. (WECT) – A Myrtle Beach man was arrested Tuesday after authorities say he traveled to Brunswick County believing he was meeting a child, according to an arrest warrant.

The Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office arrested Erik Nelson on July 28. He is charged with third-degree sexual exploitation of a minor and solicitation by computer, both felonies, the warrant states.
