HORRY COUNTY, SC — A months-long animal cruelty investigation in Horry County ended with 58 dogs taken from several properties and three men arrested, according to police.
Investigators say the case centers on suspected underground dogfighting in the Longs area, where search warrants were carried out Friday after an anonymous tip.
Searches stretched across several Longs properties
The Horry County Police Department said officers first searched two Rainbow Drive properties, then expanded to Sunny Heights Road and later to two addresses on Bay Lane.
