HORRY COUNTY S.C. (WPDE) — Grand Strand Water and Sewer Authority will end its Drought Management Plan on Saturday, Aug. 1, after customers reduced water use during peak hours in response to ongoing drought conditions.
The utility activated the plan on July 1 as severe drought conditions affected the Pee Dee River Basin, which includes Horry, Marion and Dillon counties.
