MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – Attorneys representing people arrested near a Myrtle Beach coffee house accused the city of misusing its loitering ordinance and failing to adequately address homelessness as they announced two lawsuits and plans for more legal action.
The lawsuits, filed Thursday in Horry County Common Pleas Court, challenge arrests near Fresh Brewed Coffee House at 933 Broadway St. over the past weekend.
